How NextMoves handles your information
This explains the intended minimum-data approach for our private pilot. It must be completed with the operator's legal details, contact address, retention periods and a proper UK data protection review before public signup.
What the account stores
An adult's email address and authentication information (managed by Supabase), the homework titles and due dates you choose to save, activities, planning preferences and the tick-box progress you enter.
Screenshot capture
Homework screenshots are processed inside your browser for text recognition. The image isn't uploaded to NextMoves storage. You review the extracted details and choose what text to save. Please crop or hide unnecessary personal information before choosing a screenshot.
What's not included
No public child profiles, photo gallery, direct messaging, third-party advertising, school-platform passwords or location tracking. We don't use the questionnaire to diagnose a condition.
Security and access
The adult creates a family account. The child and adult can use the same signed-in workspace on a shared device. Account credentials remain the adult's responsibility. Personal planner records are restricted through database row-level security.
Your choices
Use the workspace's Export and Delete functions to manage records. Full account deletion is available once the server-side deletion function has been deployed. Data controller details, support contact and statutory rights instructions must be added before release.
